Smart BIM Programs DirectorI am a Digital Delivery Director at Orascom Development Holding with 17 years of experience. Orascom is one of the leading international developers in 7 countries in Europe and MENA. I have managed the implementation of the BIM system and Integrated Digital Delivery across the whole project lifecycle. My last degree is a Master of Science in Building Information Modeling and Project collaboration at the University of Derby in UK and my research aims to explore how can the UK National Annex to ISO 19650 be applied to the Egyptian context.
Eventually, After I had completed my Dual master’s degree in Global BIM Management at Barcelona University, I worked as a Professor at the Zigurat Institute of Technology in Spain. Many professionals have the talent in academic background. Others have the talent and skills in a practical field. Most likely, I have both. I have a successful academic background in the BIM field and at the same time, I have many different years of practical working.
I’ve received different honor certificates and awards for my success stories. Let me mention a few of them.

I aim to enhance knowledge for successful BIM adoption in the Middle East, which is why I am a member of the buildingSMART UAE Chapter. Additionally, I created a Smart BIM Management tool. It helps organizations and engineers in implementing ISO 19650 in a practical way. I have taught PAS 1192 and the ISO 19650 series to more than 3,000 postgraduate students in many universities and institutes since 2018.
